Calculator data

Every calculation on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The CTC, hike percentage and any other figures you enter are never sent to a server, never written to a database, and never logged. If you close the tab, they are gone.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all — no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no preference cookies. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is privacy-first by design: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect any personal data. It records aggregate information such as the page visited, referrer, and general country — never anything that identifies an individual.

Voluntary hike submissions

If you choose to submit your hike details through the optional form, we store only what the form asks for: role category, city, years of experience, salary band, hike percentage, and whether you accepted. This is used to build aggregate, anonymised statistics about salary hikes in India.

Submitting is entirely optional and the calculator works fully without it. We do not collect your name, email address, employer, or any other identifying detail — and because we collect none, a submission cannot be traced back to you or withdrawn individually.

To prevent abuse, the server keeps a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address, salted and truncated, purely to rate-limit submissions. The original IP address is never stored, and the hash cannot be reversed.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests as a hosting and network provider and maintains its own security logs, governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. No other third-party service receives data from this site. There is no advertising network and no social media embed.

Children

This site is a salary tool intended for working adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
